Drumroll, please!

It is December, and we have finally reached the end of the “What’s in Your Toolkit?” series and I am in awe and thankful.

In awe of all the amazing women who chose to tell their stories and thankful for the tools they shared.

As I shared with all the women when I reached out to them and also in a post from earlier in the year where I shared Five Tools in my Personal Toolkit.

“I started this blog in 2017 to tell However, one of my 2020 blog goals is to share the broken pieces of other women’s stories sprinkled with silver lining perspectives…” . Funny stories like that time I got drunk for the first time and drunk dialed my mom, reflective stories about stupid choices and God’s redeeming love, and jaw-dropping tales like that one time, more like four times, random guys on the D.C. metro decided I was the perfect centerpiece to jerk off to. Ultimately, I have shared “my life’s broken pieces sprinkled with silver lining perspective” through personal narratives. And I want to keep doing that.

Hence, the birth of the monthly “WHAT’S IN YOUR TOOLKIT?” series.

To finish out the year and series, we are focusing on 2021, and I am excited to share wisdom from another formidable woman who is also my friend. Let’s get to it!

I mention my faith because the bible tells us to speak things though they are not as they are. That essentially is telling us to speak things into existence. The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind book also talks a lot about our capacity for wealth, and how we sabotage increase when we aren’t mentally ready for it.

One of the first places that I’ve chosen to apply this principle is with my wedding planning business, Statuesque Events. It’s…
